Comments
The Apple IIc Plus is essentially an enhanced Apple IIc. Apple
gave the IIc Plus a built-in 3.5-inch, 800K floppy disk drive and
compatibility through its "SmartPort" with a variety of external
drives such as the Apple 3.5 drive, the UniDisk 3.5, and the Apple
5.25 drive. The IIc Plus supports up to three external drives. Up
to two of those external drives can be 5.25-inch drives and up to
three can be 3.5-inch drives. You connect the first drive to the disk
drive port and any additional drive to each other in a chain. The important
thing to remember about connecting disk drives is that the 3.5-inch drives
must be closest to the computer in the chain. The IIc Plus' 4 MHz 65C02
processor is four times faster than the original IIc. The IIc Plus is
the last Apple II computer introduced by Apple.
