Comments
Apple introduced the Apple IIe Platinum in 1987 to replace the Apple IIe Enhanced. Changes were mostly cosmetic and superficial, with the biggest difference being that the case color was changed from beige to the then standard blue-gray color Apple called "platinum". Apple also improved the keyboard making it more Mac-like by adding a built-in numeric keypad.
