Comments
Identical in almost every regard to the Macintosh SE, the SE FDHD gave this SE the ability to use an internal or external high density 1.4 MB floppy drive. There are various examples of SE FDHDs with different labels such as "Macintosh Superdrive" or just plain "Macintosh SE." This is just branding. If the SE has a 1.4 MB internal floppy drive or can use an external 1.4 MB floppy disk drive, it has either been upgraded with an SE FDHD motherboard or it shipped with an SE FDHD motherboard.
