(Macworld, April 1993)
Like the PowerBook 160 and 180, the 165c had a video-out port
for driving an external monitor. The external monitor could
show the same image as the 165c, or an alternate range.

(Macworld, August 1993)
Active Matrix Advantage: Apple's active matrix 180c (right) was
far sharper than the passive matrix 165c. The 180c screen, with
51,200 more pixels than the 165c screen had, also offered a fuller
view of the image, although image size was
reduced slightly.
