07.15  MacDailyNews  Apple debuts new iPhone ’God Phone’ print ad (with image), Staff: Apple has debuted a new iPhone print ad in a national (U.S.) campaign that seems to play off the "Jesus Phone" or "God Phone" sobriquet that some have used to refer to iPhone.

Reader bigtimeproducer has posted a picture of an Apple Cube case that has been stripped clean and retro-fitted with a Mac mini, external hard drive and an Airport Extreme. It looks cool, and probably gets a good wireless signal (seeing as the basestation is inches away).

07.13  MacNN  iPhone typing faster than competition?, Staff: Consulting firm User Centric has published a summary of the initial results of its iPhone customer study, revealing that iPhone users were generally more productive with the iPhone’s keyboard when composing text messages after one week than they were using previously owned phones.

07.13  MacNN  Analysts: Europe’s iPhone war to raise stock, Staff: Analysts with American Technology Research say they believe that the fight for European iPhone contracts may boost Apple’s stock substantially.

The two most important selling points for the iPhone have been totally left out of every story I’ve yet to come across.

07.13  Apple Insider  About 25 percent of iPhone buyers are ’switchers’ to AT&T - firm, Katie Marsal: About one quarter of consumers adopting Apple’s heavily-hyped iPhone handset are ’switchers’ to AT&T from other carriers, financial firm American Technology Research reported on Friday, citing unnamed sources.

07.13  Yahoo!  iPhone buyers have no regrets, Edward C. Baig: Early iPhone owners are overwhelmingly happy with their devices, a survey out Friday says, and Apple (AAPL) and AT&T (T) are luring customers from rivals as a result.

07.12  InformationWeek  Google Sites Still Most Visited, But Apple Grows, Thomas Claburn: While Google remained the most popular Web property in the world in May, Apple showed the most growth among the Top Ten.

07.12  MacNN  Analyst: New iMacs, ultra-portable MacBooks, Staff: Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster is reporting that there is an 80% likelihood of redesigned iMacs this Summer, an ultra-portable MacBook Pro model will soon debut, and iPods with OS X are on tap.

07.12  Reuters  German iPhone gets 1,000 enquiries daily, Jens Hack: Germany’s biggest Apple retailer is getting 1,000 enquiries every day about buying the new iPhone, which is expected to go on sale towards the end of the year, the retailer’s head told a newspaper.
