1. Squeeze two tabs under the front bezel to release the top cover.
Note: Shown upside down for demonstration purposes. The case will need to be right side up.
2. Slide the cover off. The cover slides off. It does not lift off like the Macintosh IIci or LC III.
3. Cover removed.
4. The third drive bay and CD-ROM covers can easily be removed by pulling them straight back.
Note: This is not necessary if you only want to work on the motherboard.
5. Third drive bay and CD-ROM covers removed.
6. Face the computer towards you so you can easily lift out the power supply assembly.
7. Swing out the slot cover.
8. Slot cover swung out.
9. Push out front tab securing power supply assembly.
10. Push out back tab securing power supply assembly.
11. Swing out the foot that supports the power supply assembly once it is tilted.
12. Lift power supply assembly, swing it out and rest it on the foot.
13. Power supply assembly resting on foot.
14. The motherboard is now exposed.
15. Ready to upgrade.
