Back to Vectronic's Silentype Page (Click) Feeding thermal paper into a Silentype: 1. Ready to load paper. 2. Pull back the dark-toned portion of the printer casing. 3. Temporarily set the paper roll on the lid and set the edge of the paper on the paper guide ramp. Feed the paper evenly with fingers under the drive roller until leading edge engages. 4. Rotate paper feed knob clockwise until leading edge appears under white print head. 5. The paper roll is secured to the printer case by two black spring-loaded bearings. 6. Put the bearings on each side of the paper roll with the square sides outward. 7. Press the bearings down into the grooves on each side until they are sitting firmly in the deepest part of the notches. 8. Make sure the paper is feed over the lighter-toned portion of the printer casing and close the back paper cover. 9. Ready to print.
